Dare To Ask For What You WANT

there comes a moment when
silence is no longer noble when
restraint rots into
resignation you've been
trained trained to make yourself smaller
to sit quietly in the back while others
speak your desires into existence
you watch them raise their hands step
into the light claim rewards they didn't
earn but demanded anyway and you armed
with talent integrity and vision remain
still waiting for someone to notice no
one ever did not because you lacked
value but because you lacked audacity
the world does not respond to what you
deserve it responds to what you declare
speak nothing and you'll be handed
nothing demand nothing and you'll be
offered scraps but if you dare if you
truly dare to ask for what you want even
if your voice trembles the room changes
the air thickens the order fractures
because power does not belong to the
worthy it belongs to the bold you were
conditioned to avoid being a burden to
ask was to inconvenience to want was to
risk being denied so you built a life
around subtle hints quiet hope and vague
expectations but subtlety is not a
strategy hope is not a weapon and vague
intentions build invisible empires you
think people don't see you but they do
they just see someone unwilling to speak
and in a world where noise dominates
silence gets erased you cannot claim a
life of abundance with a whisper you
must thunder you must
declare not for approval but for
alignment the universe does not move for
passive energy it bends for those who
command with clarity people will tell
you to be humble that asking is
arrogance that wanting more means you're
ungrateful but gratitude and hunger are
not enemies they are allies you can be
thankful and still ravenous still
reaching still unwilling to settle for a
life that does not thrill you to your
bones the ones who tell you to shrink
are the ones afraid of what your
fullness might reveal about their lack
their fear is not your burden their
limits are not your
blueprint you were not born to be
agreeable you were born to be undeniable
and that begins the moment you stop
waiting for permission to want to want
is to
risk risk being rejected risk being
judged risk being seen and you've been
told that visibility is dangerous that
standing out paints a target but staying
invisible is not safety it's a slow
erosion of identity of dreams of
selfrespect
you lose more by hiding than you ever
will by asking yes the world may say no
it may mock you question you resist you
but at least you were there at least you
asked and in that moment you reclaimed a
piece of yourself that years of silence
tried to destroy those who ask change
history they bend steel with vision not
volume they walk into rooms uninvited
and make space for themselves not with
aggression but with certainty they do
not beg they do not plead they state
what they want and they do so with the
expectation that the world will respond
and often it does because boldness is
magnetic clarity is contagious when you
know what you want and you say it
without shame the world stares back and
listens
but first you must silence the inner
voice trained to apologize for existing
it what do you want say it without
downplaying it without softening the
edges without dressing it in humble
language that makes it easier for others
to digest speak it in its rawest truest
form say it like a war cry and watch who
flinches
the ones who recoil were never meant to
hold space for your becoming let them go
wanting more does not make you difficult
it makes you awake and those who
sleepwalk through life will never
understand the hunger in your voice but
it is not their understanding you need
it is your own there's a difference
between needing and asking you've needed
things for years and yet you stayed
quiet and that silence became a doctrine
a belief system that taught you that
your needs didn't matter but the truth
is asking is not a plea it's a claim
it's a sword driven into the earth that
says this is mine to reach for and if
you never dared to reach you will live
in the shadows of those who did want is
not a
weakness it is direction a compass that
points toward what your soul was built
for what you want is already watching
you it waits to see if you're brave
enough to admit it you don't manifest
dreams by meditating on them you bring
them to life by chasing them down
cornering them and refusing to walk away
without an answer to ask is not to beg
it is to knock on a door that your
ancestors never even approached to ask
is to stand on centuries of silence and
be the one who finally broke it if you
feel the tremor in your chest good
that's your voice waking up don't let it
die again history does not remember the
passive it remembers the
disruptors the ones who demanded more
even when they were told to be grateful
the ones who asked not because they were
certain of getting but because they were
certain of deserving you are allowed to
want you are allowed to reach you are
allowed to claim a life that scares you
with how big it could be the question is
will you
dare will you lift your head and speak
what your heart has always known or will
you stay quiet and hope someone else
speaks it for you the majority never ask
not because they fear rejection but
because the person who could ask doesn't
exist yet that's the hidden fracture the
identity they live inside cannot carry
the weight of their
desires wanting is easy asking requires
embodiment you can crave a throne but if
you still see yourself as a servant
you'll never reach for the crown the
real enemy isn't the world telling you
no it's the inner narrative saying you
have no right to speak you wait not for
the right time but for internal
alignment for the voice inside to stop
trembling but that voice only steadies
when it's used confidence doesn't
precede action it's built by it you
think you're being patient calculating
strategic no you're
stalling you're standing at the gates of
your future holding the key and
pretending someone else needs to open
the door the internal permission slip is
the most forged document in human
history people scribble signatures on it
in secret but never turn it in they talk
about vision they talk about potential
they speak of dreams like ghosts faint
unreal poetic but never owned never
lived the problem is identity you were
never shown how to see yourself as the
kind of person who gets to ask for more
so you repeat the same rituals of
hesitation dressing them up as humil you
undercut your requests you soften your
tone you ask for less than you want
hoping to be seen as reasonable but
reasonable people rarely move
mountains the world bends for those who
carry themselves like they're worthy of
the bend you don't need more talent you
don't need another strategy you need
permission
from you that's the brutal
simplicity no mentor no course no
podcast no quote will override the
silent contract you've made with
yourself about who you're allowed to be
and until you rip up that
contract every opportunity will feel out
of reach every door will feel heavier
than it is you'll say it's timing or
preparation or perfectionism but
underneath all that is a single truth
you haven't allowed yourself to step
into the identity that matches the life
you say you want you speak of greatness
while rehearsing
inferiority and the brain believes what
is rehearsed identity is not fixed but
most people treat it like stone they
wear old names like shackles labels
assigned in childhood roles inherited
titles they never chose and with every
passing year they deepen the groove more
evidence collected more proof that this
is just who I am until one day they try
to reach for something larger and the
hand that moves forward is pulled back
by the anchor of who they've always been
you don't need to improve you need to
reinvent you need to burn the script
shatter the mold build a new internal
architecture that supports the structure
of your ambition without it your goals
will always collapse under the weight of
your disbelief the most tragic part the
opportunities were there they were
within arms reach but your arm didn't
move not because the path was blocked
but because you didn't believe you
belonged in the
room that's what identity mismatch does
it doesn't just make you hesitant it
blinds you to the invitation entirely
you can't see what you don't believe you
deserve so while others walk boldly
through open doors you sit outside
wondering why nothing ever changes the
truth you never knocked you never even
stood up the moment you grant yourself
permission everything accelerates not
because the world changes but because
you stop stalling your own motion you
walk into the meeting differently you
speak your desire without shrinking you
follow up you apply you show up in ways
your old self never could and suddenly
the universe feels different but it's
you you're different you became the
version of yourself that was allowed to
ask and in doing so you collapsed the
space between want and pursuit this is
how it
begins not with a lightning strike but
with a single sentence spoken from a
place of inner certainty you were never
waiting on opportunity you were waiting
on identity and while you sat in the
waiting room of your life others rewrote
theirs in real time they didn't ask for
approval they didn't seek
applause they saw themselves clearly and
that vision unlocked the doors that once
looked
sealed when you carry the right identity
you don't knock you enter that's the
difference identity creates posture and
posture dictates permission you must ask
but not from the place you stand
now you must ask as the person who
already knows the
answer that's the paradox the request
isn't for validation it's an
announcement a confirmation a signal
that you've stepped into the version of
yourself that no longer begs no longer
hesitates no longer tolerates
delay you don't have to
scream you just have to speak without
flinching the world doesn't need noise
it needs conviction so stop circling the
perimeter of your own life waiting for
the perfect alignment you are the
alignment you are the permission and if
you can rewrite the story you tell
yourself about who you are every door
becomes a
formality you ask not because you doubt
but because you decide and in that
decision you cross a threshold few ever
reach asking exposes you it drags your
internal world into the spotlight
unclothed and
trembling it's the moment you stop
hiding behind effort and begin revealing
intent most people never reach that edge
because exposure threatens the illusion
of control they'd rather toil in silence
than state what they actually want
because once you say it out loud with
clarity you become vulnerable vulnerable
to judgment to rejection to
misunderstanding but more importantly
you become vulnerable to truth and truth
is heavier than failure when you ask you
hold a mirror to your identity and for
many that reflection
burns it confronts the gap between who
they are and who they pretend to be but
without that confrontation there is no
evolution without exposure you stay
hidden and hidden things do not grow
they decay exposure creates tension a
pull between your current self and the
self that dares to want more it disrupts
equilibrium breaks the autopilot
scramles the rehearsed scripts you've
been performing for years tension is
uncomfortable and that's why most avoid
asking they don't want the aftershock
but tension is not a threat it's a
threshold it's the signal that something
dormant inside you has been stirred that
a deeper part of you has heard your
voice for the first time and yes that
part may resist it may
tremble but the presence of tension is
the proof of
movement stillness doesn't change you
discomfort does when you stay silent you
remain undisturbed but ask and suddenly
the room shifts the future shakes and
the illusions that kept you still begin
to collapse we talk about change like
it's a gentle tide slowly reshaping the
shore but real change deep cellular
irrevocable change is a fracture it
requires a break a moment of undeniable
collision that moment begins with asking
when you ask you send a tremor into the
ground beneath your life and what breaks
are the parts of you that were never
real to begin with the masks the
performance to ask is to say I no longer
accept this role and roles once broken
can never be worn again that's the cost
of asking you can't go back to
pretending you can't unsee what you've
said aloud your words become a
summons calling your future closer while
setting your past on fire your ask is
not volume it's voltage it charges the
space around you with intent it
transforms silence into signal you don't
need to scream to be heard you need to
mean it and meaning begins
internally that's the part most skip
they ask others before they ask
themselves they chase validation before
clarity but if you haven't asked
yourself truly asked with no censorship
or pretense then any external ask the
foundation won't hold the world can't
respond to a vague whisper it responds
to grounded conviction
and that conviction is born the moment
you look in the mirror and ask "What do
I actually want not what feels safe not
what others expect but what would
electrify your life if you had the
audacity to pursue it." We are taught to
fear clarity to fear the consequences of
knowing exactly what we want because
once you know the excuses vanish the
stall tactics disintegrate you can no
longer pretend confusion and that's
terrifying because clarity carries
responsibility it demands alignment if
you know what you want but still do
nothing the mirror becomes unbearable so
many hide in the fog but fog is not
protection it's
paralysis the ask burns away the haze
and what's revealed is either your next
step or the reasons you've been avoiding
it
that's why asking is power not because
it guarantees a result but because it
guarantees a confrontation asking
yourself is the ultimate rebellion it
shatters the architecture of people
pleasing it punctures the performative
masks it exposes the scaffolding of your
current life what was built for comfort
for safety for applause and beneath all
of it you find desire raw untamed honest
the kind of desire that doesn't
negotiate and from there everything
changes not because the world softens
but because you harden your focus you
stop leaking energy into things you
never chose you stop making yourself
available to versions of life you never
truly wanted because once you've asked
and answered tolerance
disappears you're no longer a vessel for
someone else's
script you've become the author the ask
is your
amplifier it magnifies what's already
inside you if that inner world is
chaotic the ask will echo confusion but
if that inner world is aligned it will
echo certainty so before you speak into
the world speak into yourself do the
excavation uncover the buried wants the
dormant hunger the parts of you that
have been silenced in the name of
fitting in give them voice because
that's where all external change begins
the internal decision to no longer stay
quiet you can spend a lifetime building
competence but competence without
clarity is wasted
skill without a request becomes
servitude you'll spend your life
fulfilling the visions of others while
your own rusts in the
corner that's the silent
tragedy the man who could but never
asked the woman who knew but never named
it the ones who waited for someone else
to notice what they should have claimed
no more this is the line in the sand
ask first of yourself then of the world
and let the tension do its job let it
reshape you because the moment of asking
is the moment of awakening everything
begins with a decision but decisions are
powerless without
articulation the ask is that
articulation it's the force that gives
shape to your choice it announces your
readiness not to the world but to
yourself and in that moment something
ancient
shifts you stop watching life happen and
begin creating it you stop being a
character and start being the author you
stop waiting for a sign and become the
signal you may speak with your mouth but
you ask with your identity the world
doesn't hear your words it hears the
weight behind them and that weight is
dictated by your self-p picture when you
walk into a room your posture speaks
before your voice does when you make a
request it is filtered through the
belief system you carry your unspoken
assumptions about your value your place
your worth if your self-picture is
fractured your words will carry tremors
you might say all the right things
follow every rule of persuasion even
memorize every tactic but your tone will
betray you it will of apology of doubt
of permission seeking because no matter
how polished your delivery the internal
hierarchy overrides it the version of
you at the top determines the power of
your ask and if that version sees
themselves as lesser every sentence you
utter will be an echo of that
inferiority most people fail not in
articulation but in embodiment they ask
for more while seeing themselves as less
they walk into negotiations carrying
invisible chains remnants of old roles
early rejections cultural scripts they
speak of dreams but their voice drags
with
hesitation that hesitation is not
shyness it's misalignment
the words are trying to leap forward but
the self high until you fix the internal
order until the version of you doing the
asking believes they belong at the table
your tone will keep betraying you the
room senses it people feel it it's an
energetic fracture a silent
contradiction and it costs you
everything there's a reason some people
ask for the world and receive it while
others ask for crumbs and are
denied it has nothing to do with
entitlement and everything to do with
congruence the aligned self doesn't beg
it doesn't sell it doesn't camouflage
the ask it states what it wants with a
calm that rattles the room that calm
doesn't come from practice it comes from
inner certainty you cannot fake it you
cannot borrow it you must build it and
that building begins with dismantling
the internal hierarchy that keeps you at
the bottom of your own mind look closely
who stands at the top of your inner
structure the critic the self-doubter
the ghost of someone who once told you
to stay small whoever it is their voice
has become law inside your psyche and
that law governs your ask it dictates
how loud you speak how high you aim how
long you wait to fix the ask you must
fix the authority behind it rewire the
chain of command remove the impostor
replace them with a self that is forged
in earned confidence not inherited
limitation this is not delusion it's
discipline the discipline of building a
self whose self-position does not
require the world's validation to feel
real the most dangerous lie is the one
you whisper to yourself in moments of
hesitation who do you think you are to
want that and so you shrink you adjust
your tone you soften the edges of your
ask you smile while negotiating against
yourself this is how the internal
hierarchy wins by training you to
sabotage your own pursuit before anyone
else gets the chance you defeat yourself
preemptively believing that playing
small will protect you from the pain of
rejection but it doesn't it only
guarantees that you'll never receive
what you truly want you don't need to
become louder you need to become aligned
alignment is not noise it's density it's
the gravitational pull of someone who
knows who they are when your internal
hierarchy is clean your ask becomes
inevitable you don't stutter you don't
question you walk in and declare not
because you expect a yes but because you
refuse to accept a life built on
self censorship the world cannot grant
you more than you're willing to believe
you deserve that's the ceiling and only
you can raise it this is the tragedy of
misalignment people ask for scraps
because their identity hasn't evolved to
hold more and even when given more they
sabotage it they return it to sender
they explain it away because the
internal hierarchy rejects it this isn't
mine it says "I don't belong here." So
they abandon the very thing they spent
years pursuing
not because they failed but because
their internal self didn't update
success without identity will always
collapse that's why the ask must begin
within you must become the kind of
person who can hold what they ask
for without apology without
fear without retreat and that
transformation is violent you will have
to betray old versions of yourself you
will have to dethrone inner voices that
once kept you safe you will have to
rebuild the structure from the ground up
but once done every ask becomes pure
clean charged with the authority of
someone who no longer negotiates with
ghosts you speak once and the room
listens not because you demanded but
because you embodied asking is not
performance it is projection you don't
speak to inform the world you speak to
confirm who you are and if your internal
hierarchy is flawed that confirmation
will be tainted you cannot pretend your
way into power you must architect it
piece by piece reflection by reflection
until the voice inside that once said
"Don't ask for too much," is replaced by
one that says "Why not everything dare
to ask for what you want but first dare
to become someone who believes they can
hold it your voice only carries as far
as your identity allows it fix the
foundation and the echo becomes
unstoppable
