“neoliberal ideals.”
On Monday, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree inviting world citizens fed up with far-left policies to come to Russia.
Applicants must reject leftist policies in their own countries “aimed at imposing destructive neoliberal ideals on people, which run counter to traditional Russian spiritual and moral values.”
“The Foreign Ministry has been instructed to start issuing three-month visas to such applicants as early as in September,” reports Russian state media TASS
Putin has previously condemned liberal progressivism and political correctness, taking exception with nations attempting to erase traditional family structures, such as countries like France where the government banned the words “mother” and “father” from official paperwork.
The Russian president has also previously slammed woke policies and gender ideology, and in 2023 banned “medical interventions aimed at changing the sex of a person.”
In 2022, he also passed a law banning gay propaganda from being disseminated to adults.
Despite its full-spectrum assault, Russia appears determined to shield its citizenry from the “woke mind virus,” hoping to preserve a traditional prosperous society.
